Wat Pothi Sovann Rangsey
វត្តពោធិ៍សុវណ្ណរង្សី
Wat Pothi Sovann Rangsey (វត្តពោធិ៍សុវណ្ណរង្សី) is a Buddhist Wat in Prek Ta Vong village, Anlong Vil commune, Kandieng district, Pursat province, Cambodia.[1]
History
The Wat was first built in 1935 on a mound in Prek Ta Vong village. It was damaged under the Khmer Rouge and restored after 1979 by lay followers and donors.[1]
Religious life
A new reception hall in Khmer style, 24 by 8.5 m (79 by 28 ft), was built from November 2025 to April 2026 and opened on April 12, 2026, with the provincial governor present.[1] In October 2026, the government working group for Krakor and Kandieng districts joined the Kan Ben offerings at the Wat.[2]
