Wat Pothivong
វត្តពោធិវង្ស
Wat Pothivong (វត្តពោធិវង្ស) is a Buddhist Wat in Battambang city, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
On August 29, 2026, a family of Sangkat Slaket, in Battambang city, offered the Wat's abbot 17 small stone heads of Buddha images, wrapped in monks' robes, that had been found buried on their land. The abbot kept them at the Wat. On August 31, 2026, officials of the provincial departments of cults and religion and of culture examined the pieces and found that they are not antiquities.[2][1]
