Wat Pov Pisey
វត្តពៅពិសី
Wat Pov Pisey (វត្តពៅពិសី), formally វត្តធម្មគន្ធារាម, is a Buddhist Wat in Ou Kanthor, Stueng Saen city, Kampong Thom province, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
As of 2025, the abbot was Venerable Hoeun Vireak. Work on the Wat's large vihara began in March 2020. On March 7, 2025, the leaders of the Kampong Thom military region and lay followers carried the sima (សីមា), the boundary stones of the ordination hall, in procession after a krong peali (ក្រុងពាលី), an offering to the guardian spirit of the land, and on March 10, 2025, the governor cut the ribbon for the placing of the stones.[2][1][3]
