Religious life

As of 2026, the abbot was Preah Bidok Dhammame Mao Nim, deputy chief monk of Khan 7 Makara; he was already abbot in 2019.[2][3] In June 2025, 48 monks lived at the Wat.[1] On August 1, 2026, Vassa candles and gifts were offered to the monks of the Wat during the three-month rains retreat.[2] During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On the afternoon of September 28, 2026, the Khan 7 Makara administration held the chanting for the third turn at the Wat.[4]
