Wat Prohear Chas

Wat Prohear Chas (វត្តព្រហារចាស់, Wat Prohear Chas) is a Buddhist Wat in Prohear village, Chres commune, Me Sang district, Prey Veng.[1]
History
The Wat is regarded locally as an old foundation. It was rebuilt after 1979, when monks, lay followers and the Wat committee raised funds for a new vihara (main sanctuary), a dining hall and other buildings.[1]
Religious life
In July 2025, the monks held chanting to consecrate the Wat's new buildings, with the abbot, a senior monk of Wat Neakavoan in Phnom Penh, local authorities and lay followers taking part.[1]
