Religious life
During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On September 27, 2026, Women's Affairs Minister Ing Kantha Phavi and ministry officials held the first turn of Kan Ben at the Wat. The monks chanted and gave a sermon, and food was offered to them the next morning.[2]
