Wat Roung Damrei (វត្តរោងដំរី, Wat Roung Damrei) is a Buddhist Wat in Kampong Leav, Prey Veng town.[1]
Religious life
During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On September 14, 2025, the seventh day, Samdech Kuy Sophal, Minister of the Royal Palace, and his family made offerings at the Wat. The monks chanted blessings and the bangskol (a rite for the dead), and the family offered food, fruit and gifts to the monks living at the Wat.[1]
