Wat Samraong Ponley
វត្តសំរោងពន្លៃ
Wat Samraong Ponley (វត្តសំរោងពន្លៃ) is a Buddhist Wat in Ponley commune, Angkor Borei district, Takeo, Cambodia.[1]
History
Deputy provincial governor Moul Vichet described the Wat in 2025 as more than 200 years old. Since 2011 it has been led by Sek Sovannarin, a deputy district chief monk of Angkor Borei.[1]
Religious life
On March 22, 2025, Samdech Men Sam An presided over the consecration of a large Buddha image, which stands above a library, and the dedication of other new buildings at the Wat.[1][2]
