Wat

Wat Srah Chak (វត្តស្រះចក, Wat Srah Chak), formally Wat Vimean Tejak (វត្តវិមានតេជះ), is a Buddhist Wat in Srah Chak, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.[1][2]

Religious life

As of 2025, the abbot was Samdech Preah Udom Chariya Bandit Chhoeung Bunchhea, vice president of the Buddhist Elders' Council of Cambodia. He had led the Wat since at least 2019.[2][3] During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On September 13 and 14, 2025, the President of the National Assembly held the seventh turn of Kan Ben at the Wat, in the presence of the abbot and senior monks, and offered food to the monks on the morning of September 14.[2]
