History

Its formal name is វត្តអម្ពមង្គលារាម (Wat Ampa Mongkolaram).

Religious life

As of December 2025, the abbot was Preah Tejaguna Reach Sarum. In December 2025, he led the Wat's lay followers in pounding ambok (flattened rice) for soldiers and displaced families.
