During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On October 5, 2026, the ninth day, Samdech Men Sam An joined the ceremony at the Wat, with chanting, blessing recitations and the alms round, and offered gifts and funds for the ninth turn at six Wats of the province.[1]
