Wat Tep Nimit
វត្តទេពនិម្មិត
Wat Tep Nimit (វត្តទេពនិម្មិត), also called Wat Thommayut, is a Buddhist Wat in Kampong Rotes, Stueng Saen city, Kampong Thom province, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
The Wat is a regular venue for kan ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ), the days of offerings that lead up to Pchum Ben. On September 14, 2025, the eighth day, the provincial police chief led his officers in chanting there, and on September 15, 2025, the ninth day, the provincial council chairman and a deputy governor led officials in offerings to the monks, among them 2 million riel for construction.[2][3] On October 3, 2026, the eighth day that year, the police again made offerings to the monks.[1][4]
In December 2025, 93 families displaced by the fighting on the border with Thailand were staying at the Wat.[5] In January 2026 the provincial police brought food to 50 elderly and poor families there.[6]
