Wat Thmei (Prey Veng)

វត្តបុញ្ញខេត្តារាម

Wat Thmei (វត្តបុញ្ញខេត្តារាម, Wat Bonh Khettaram) is a Buddhist Wat in Prey Veng town.[1]

Religious life

During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On the morning of September 18, 2025, the eleventh day, Prey Veng governor Suon Somalin and provincial officials brought food and gifts to the monks, joined the bangskol (a rite in which monks chant for the dead), and offered 20,390,000 riel for building work at the Wat.[1]
