Wat

Wat Traeuy Kaoh (វត្តត្រើយកោះ, Wat Traeuy Kaoh) is a Buddhist Wat in Ang village, Traeuy Kaoh, in the city of Kampot, Cambodia.[1]

Religious life

In September 2025, during Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), the Wat held the usual ceremonies. Many lay people came, and took part in many of the ceremonies, including the baoh bay ben (បោះបាយបិណ្ឌ).[2]

On August 4, 2026, during Vassa (ព្រះវស្សា, Preah Vassa), the Wat hosted an offering for the monks of ten Kampot Wats, given by a Kampot salt producer and his family. Each Wat received a pair of Vassa candles, 100 kg (220 lb) of rice, other food and household goods, and 700,000 riel.[1]
