Wat Tumpoung (Samakki Munichey)

Wat Tumpoung (វត្តទំពូង) is a Buddhist Wat in Mean Chey commune, Samakki Munichey district, Kampong Speu province, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
As of 2026, the abbot was Preah Thammanando Chhien Vireak, a deputy chief monk of the district. On May 31, 2026, the Wat held a blessing ceremony for him and consecrated new works, with Samdech Preah Prohmaratanamuni Pin Sem, president of the Council of Elders, presiding.[1] On September 10, 2026, it hosted a meeting of the district's Buddhist primary school staff, teachers and novices.[2]
