Wat Tuol Preah Ram
វត្តទួលព្រះរាម
Wat Tuol Preah Ram (វត្តទួលព្រះរាម) is a Buddhist Wat in Chambak Phaem village, Sep commune, Kampong Tralach district, Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
On September 17, 2025, Chhim Vuthea, deputy governor of the province, spoke at the Wat about security for people during the Dak Ben (ដាក់បិណ្ឌ) and Pchum Ben (ភ្ជំបិណ្ឌ) festivals.[1] On that occasion, he and provincial officials held an alms-giving ceremony (ពិធីរាប់បាត្រ) and presented offerings and donations to the monks for the tenth turn (វេនទី១០) of Dak Ben: 100 kg of rice, noodles, drinks, drinking water, fish sauce, soy sauce and 2,700,000 riel.[1]
On October 1, 2026, Hou Vireak (ហ៊ឺ វីរៈ), member of parliament for Kampong Chhnang province, took part in the Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ) merit-making ceremony with Buddhists at the Wat and at Wat Sophirongsey in Longveak commune. He spoke with the lay devotees Ta Chi (លោកតាជី) and Yeay Chi (លោកយាយជី) and with the Buddhists of both Wats.[2]
