វត្តទួលព្រះធាតុ

Wat Tuol Preah Theat (វត្តទួលព្រះធាតុ), also called Wat Tuol Phlong, is a Buddhist Wat in Trea commune, Stoung district, Kampong Thom province, Cambodia.[1]

History

A stupa at the Wat holds the remains of victims of the Khmer Rouge regime.[2][1]

Religious life

On May 23, 2025, Stoung district held the National Day of Remembrance at the Wat. On May 26, 2025, the district governor inaugurated new works there, thanked the abbot, achar (lay ritual leaders) and Wat committee for raising the funds and appealed for donations to improve the stupa as a memorial.[2][1]

In December 2025, 42 families displaced by the fighting on the border with Thailand were staying at the Wat; the district governor asked them to report health problems to the abbot or the authorities.[3] A new road to the Wat was completed in 2026.[4]
