Overview
Holdings gather material from the Cambodian funds of the French National Audiovisual Institute, the UNICEF archive, Rithy Panh's archive and the Cambodian Film Commission, which recovered Khmer Rouge propaganda films from 1979 onwards. Subjects range across Cambodian cinema, newsreels of the 1960s, radio recordings, classical dance, religion and tradition, Cambodian women, Phnom Penh and daily life. (Bophana Center archives)
