Description
Chum Net lives in Pursat province, studied at elementary level during the Sangkum Reastr Niyum, later became a monk and studied at Puth Rangsey pagoda, and left the monkhood before the Khmer Rouge arrived. Under the regime he was forced to plough and tend cattle, his siblings were killed, he did not live with his parents, and he was later evacuated to Boeng Sdok, where he worked as a blacksmith and made bullock carts.
