John Pirozzi is an American filmmaker and cinematographer who directed two documentaries about Cambodian popular music.
John Pirozzi is an American filmmaker and cinematographer who directed Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll, a documentary about Cambodian popular music of the 1960s and early 1970s and the musicians lost under the Khmer Rouge (Wikipedia). He spent about ten years assembling the film from songs, photographs and footage supplied by people connected to the music (NPR). He also directed Sleepwalking Through the Mekong (2007), and worked as producer on Don't Think I've Forgotten (IMDb; CAAMFest).
