Kavich Neang is a Cambodian director whose documentary and fiction films centre on Phnom Penh's demolished White Building.
Kavich Neang is a Cambodian film director and writer who works with the Phnom Penh production company Anti-Archive (Anti-Archive). He directed the documentary Last Night I Saw You Smiling, about the emptying of Phnom Penh's White Building, which received accolades at Rotterdam in 2019, and the fiction feature White Building, which premiered in the Orizzonti competition at the Venice Film Festival and was Cambodia's Academy Award submission (Variety; Anti-Archive; Wikipedia).
