Cambodian queen credited with choreographing the modern apsara dance and sustaining the royal dance troupe.

Sisowath Kossamak was a Cambodian queen who took personal charge of the royal dance troupe and is credited with choreographing the apsara dance in the 1940s, drawing its poses from Angkorian temple reliefs.
