Thibaut Amri is a French producer and director who co-directed the documentary Khmerica.
Thibaut Amri is a French film producer and director who co-founded the production company Avant la Nuit in 2021 (Comité du Film Ethnographique). He co-directed the documentary Khmerica with Antoine Guide and Lucas Sénécaut; it was his first documentary as a director and had its world premiere at Visions du Réel in 2025 (Comité du Film Ethnographique; Visions du Réel). Khmerica follows Cambodian refugees who grew up in the United States and were deported to Cambodia after serving prison sentences (Visions du Réel). Films he has produced have screened at festivals including Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, IndieLisboa and IDFA (Comité du Film Ethnographique).
