Wat Mony Ratanaram
វត្តមណីរតនារាម
Wat Mony Ratanaram (វត្តមណីរតនារាម) is a Buddhist Wat in Thnal Bambaek village, Sangkat Rolab, Pursat city, Cambodia.[1]
History
The Wat began as the Mony Rath Buddhist study center (មណ្ឌលសិក្សាព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាមណីរត្ន), housed at Wat Keo Sovann in Banteay Dei commune, Kandieng district. It later moved to its own site so that more people could study and practice there and monks could live there.[1] On March 11, 2025, its new vihara (ordination hall) and other works, costing more than US$1 million, were consecrated and the sima (consecrated boundary) was set.[1]
Religious life
The Wat is a center for study of the Dhamma and the Vinaya and for vipassana meditation. On May 1, 2026, it held Visak Bochea, and the foundation stone was laid for a large new building, the "Dhamma Vimean".[2]
