Wat Svay Chrum (វត្តស្វាយជ្រុំ) is a Buddhist Wat in Arey Ksat, Kandal, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
On May 24, 2025, the opening of the year of Buddhist schooling for all of Arey Ksat was held at the Wat, with Samdech Preah Oudom Muni Chea Sam Ang, chief monk of Kandal province. The town's Samdech Techo Hun Sen Arey Ksat Buddhist lower secondary school then had 155 student monks from 25 provinces and municipalities.[1] On July 25, 2026, Khuon Sudary, president of the National Assembly, offered Vassa candles, food and money to the monks of 12 Wats in Kandal keeping the three-month rains retreat, among them this Wat, at a ceremony at Wat Prek Ta Ten in Ponhea Leu district.[2]
