Cambodian-born graphic novelist in France whose Year of the Rabbit documents his family's experience of the Khmer Rouge period.
Tian Veasna is an author and graphic artist based in France, who works in publishing and teaches visual art. His first book, Year of the Rabbit, published in English by Drawn & Quarterly in 2020, documents the daily lives of his parents and extended family during the Khmer Rouge period, based on interviews with surviving relatives.
