Los Angeles food writer and cookbook co-author who worked with Nite Yun on My Cambodia.
Tien Nguyen is a writer on food and culture based in Los Angeles and a former senior food writer at LA Weekly. She co-wrote L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food with chef Roy Choi in 2013, as well as The Red Boat Fish Sauce Cookbook, Flavor Bombs and Sohn-Mat: Recipes and Flavors of Korean Home Cooking. Her work has been honoured by the Association of Food Journalists, and she was an inaugural fellow of the 2019 Jack Jones Literary Arts Culture, Too conference for cultural critics of colour.
